    'Holistic' means whole, and a holistic massage takes the whole person into account, which is why we enquire about your overall well being and lifestyle during the consultation. The more information we have, the more able we are to tailor the treatment to your individual need.
  • WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF MASSAGE?
    Massage has been shown to help reduce stress levels, improve immunity, ease tension, reduce pain and inflammation, enhance healing and aid sleep. The overall intention of a massage therapist is to enhance your well being, whatever that means to you.
  • DO YOU OFFER COUPLE'S MASSAGE?
    At this time, The Massage Hut is booked exclusively for each customer so massages are consecutive. The Grove offer some lovely areas to relax and wait for each other, with drinks served and free WiFi.
  • I HAVE A SPECIFIC HEALTH ISSUE / INJURY. CAN YOU HELP?
    All our therapists are fully trained, insured and receive guidance from relevant regulatory agencies. We each have a range of experience and qualifications, and work as a team, sharing knowledge and skills. If you have a specific health issue or injury, please contact us and provide as much detail as you can. We will get in touch with you to discuss further and either book you in with the best-matched therapist, investigate further until we are happy to book you in or try to refer you to a more suitable practitioner if we are not able to help.
  • YAY, I HAVE A GIFT VOUCHER! WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?"
    If you have a massage-only gift voucher, you may book through our online booking system as usual and just add your voucher number to the booking notes box. We will remove the voucher amount from the total price of the booking. Alternatively, you can check availability online then contact us and put details of the date, time and treatment length you would like and include voucher details. If you have a package gift voucher, please use the package enquiries form and we will make contact to help you coordinate your day.
  • DOES A RATE INCREASE MEAN I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA WHEN I USE MY GIFT VOUCHER?
    No. We honour all vouchers and booking rates at they time they were sold / made so you do not need to pay extra, as long as you are within the 12 month validity noted on the voucher.
  • WILL THERE BE A VALIDITY EXTENSION ON VOUCHERS DUE TO COVID CLOSURES?
    We are happy to extend the validity of any vouchers purchased between December 2019 and December 2020 by six months. This should leave plenty of time for the recipient to enjoy their treatment. If you have a query on a voucher, please contact us.
  • WHAT ELSE IS THERE AT THE GROVE?
    The Grove offers our clients plenty of parking, comfortable seating with free Wifi while you wait, toilet facilities and a bar serving soft and alcoholic drinks. There is beautiful accommodation in the main hotel, self catering lodges and glamping yurts, with a swimming pool available to guests and visitors. Afternoon teas are served between 2pm and 4:30pm and an a la carte restaurant and The Sundown dining tipi (seasonal) serve food from 4:30pm into the evening - see our offers page for details of packages.
  • HOW ARE YOU KEEPING US COVID-SAFE?
    As qualified professionals, we are members of various associations who are working with the government to offer advice and guidance, which we follow. We are also individually insured, and following insurers guidelines.
